Spruce Corner Restaurant
About This Spot
Spruce Corner Restaurant sits quietly along Berkshire Trail, a welcoming refuge where the pace softens and the gentle rhythm of western Massachusetts can be felt in every corner. From the moment you step inside, there’s an inviting warmth — the sort that harks back to simpler mornings and unhurried meals shared in good company. The dining room, often graced by the soft glow of a wood stove during cooler months, creates a cozy backdrop that makes you feel less like a visitor and more like an old friend returning home.
This is the kind of family restaurant where familiar faces blend with first-timers who quickly become regulars, drawn by both the food and the genuine care woven into the service. The atmosphere moves at a calm, easygoing pace, allowing you to settle in and appreciate the comfort found in hearty, thoughtfully prepared meals. Here, the menu feels like a curated collection of satisfying moments — a breakfast burrito crafted with care, a sandwich assembled to your liking, or a plate that feels like a quiet celebration of local flavor and tradition.
The experience extends beyond the food itself. There is an understated joy in watching staff move with approachable warmth, anticipating needs without hurry, and locals sharing stories over coffee that keeps flowing. Tucked away amid the hills, Spruce Corner offers a sense of lasting connection that makes it a natural stop on a winding drive, a weekday morning ritual, or a cozy spot to gather with family and friends on any given day.

Its was a nice day to stopover and get a quick breakfast! Love the garden salad! Nice stuff and a clean place to grab food.

Good food on the long, winding road through the pretty hills of western Massachusetts. This place is warm and the food is delicious. The last time my gentleman brought me out for breakfast here was on a dismal, wintry day. They had a cozy fire lit in the dining room stove which chased the chill off us and got us warmed and looking forward to our meal. Staff is awesome, the locals who dine here are welcoming and cordial, and the parking is plentiful. My household loves this place and the pricing is reasonable!

Fantastic experience, the waitress made the PERFECT "cook's translation" of our desired breakfast into "a breakfast for kings." What an absolute delight! Compliments to the cook! Warmly recommended!

First time here after (literally) many years of driving by. Should have stopped in a long time ago! Western omelet with grilled corn muffin and bottomless cup of coffee … very good and with friendly service the entire visit. Go !!

The special of the day was an onion burger, which I had with sweet potato fries. It was the most delicious meal I've had in a looong time! Eden was a fabulous server too!

It's a local place. A small restaurant with a charming atmosphere. We were on the way to Mt Greylock and decided to stop for a bite. The food was good and the staff was great too. It was the only place you can find in this area if I'm not mistaken. We had Blueberry pancakes, pancakes, House special, veggie omelette, French toast. All were equally good. Oh and remember to have them with real maple syrup.

Quiet little place for breakfast. Relaxing stop along the road. If your not looking, you can miss this place. Pancakes are full sized playe covers. Glad I only ordered 2 Blueberry. nice home fries and crisy bacon.
